Our client is a leading organization in the retail sector!


About the role:

This is a 6-month contract. It is an existing position.

The office is located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne with a hybrid work arrangement.


Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of an integrated Program of Works
  • Managing a number of projects - 5 minimum in the integration space.
  • Working closely with about 5 Engineering managers to forecast and manage the budget
  • To provide leadership and support to the team, Delivery Leads, Projects managers and Project leads.
  • Provide continual improvement to programme and project management service and standards.
  • To coordinate timelines, dependencies, escalations, notifications and updates across relevant projects.
  • To manage Project Finances


Skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in delivering large programs of work
  • Proven ability to manage complex Program Scheduling, Financial and Resource Management, Change Control, Risk and Issue Management, Stakeholder Management, Communication and Reporting
  • Proven capabilities in vendor, partner and stakeholder relationship management including the negotiation and management of outsource agreements and delivery to agreed service levels
  • Proven capability and experience driving new ways of working transformation
  • Formal Project Management accreditation (Desirable) eg. Agile, Diploma of PM, CPPM/Reg PM, PMP, Prince2 stakeholder partnership, accountability, learning agility
  • Coach delivery for cross-functional teams to create high-value products
  • Ability to facilitate and run workshops, showcases and other ceremonies to support product development activities (e.g. discovery, event storming, goal settings)
  • Investigates problems and analyses options for new and existing services, providing recommendations to solutions and produces artifacts such as domain models, workflows, user stories and interface design
  • SAFE Certified + practice SAFE Methodologies
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related Business disciplines
  • Relevant retail business experience
