Our Client:

We are working with a key department within New South Wales who are currently looking to embark on a large multi streamed Digitisation Program. They are currently looking for a Senior Service Designer to join their squad for an initial 6 month contract.

In this role, you would be working to employ a variety of human centred design methods and processes to define, design and deliver leading user experiences for users and employees. Possess both a human-centric mindset and a keen eye for design fidelity and detail that enables you to span both user experience (UX) as well as visual and interface design (UI).

About the role

You would be involved in:

  • Design and develop accessible, easy to use and supportable digital products and services.
  • Collaborate with teams remotely and in person across NSW to deliver strategic digital transformation project outcomes.
  • Facilitate the product vision and roadmap by conceptualising, designing and testing intuitive user experiences and service provision in line with management methodology to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer to enable a data driven human-centered design approach for complex problems, including journey mapping and persona profiling.

To be successful for the role, you would ideally:

  • Significant experience working in Service or Human Centred Design
  • Previous experience with software integration or application development within a large enterprise environment.
  • Keeping across changing technologies, business processes and industry best practices.
  • Ability to achieve successful outcomes through collaborative and cooperative means.
