Our Client is willing to consider strong candidates who have a solid background in Informix, however, who may not have not used it for a few years and are willing to get back into doing pure Informix development. Excellent salary package is on offer.
Your New Role
- Within this role you will carry out full life cycle development using Informix 4GL
- Support and develop existing core database processes
- Support and develop campaign selection and extraction processes
- Support data cleaning and suppression processes
- Support regular and ad-hoc reporting and data analysis
- Identify efficiencies and opportunities
- Assist with migration to new system
You Bring to the Role
- To apply for this role, you must possess a background in Informix 4GL development
- Strong experience reading and writing Informix code
- Strong experience reading and writing SQL language
- Experience in a Unix environment
- Experience with application development processes - design, build, test and implementation
- A background in C++ or .Net development
- Proficient in MS Office
- Work well as part of a cross functional team
- Ability to problem solve and a meticulous eye for detail
- To work proactively and be self-motivated
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Unix shell scripting
- Experience with MS Office VBA
- Knowledge of BI reporting development
