About the Company:

Our client is a leading provider of traffic safety technology and photonics. They are still expanding their presence in Australia.

About the role:

This role is based in Melbourne ith a hyrbid working arrangement. This role would require the candidate to take on additional responsibility and enjoy autonomy of decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Contract Manager and Delivery Team to coordinate all activities to implement a compliant project to DJCS
  • Ensure the solution implemented by the Supplier is compliant with the State's technical integration standards, and that divergences from this have been formally reviewed and approved
  • Facilitate the acceptance of the specifications through appropriate State representatives
  • Achieve delivery on project stages in line with implementation plan & timelines
  • Work closely with the R&D Teams
  • Co-ordinate communications between relevant stakeholders
  • Create relevant documentation and reporting
  • Training and handover to Back-office / IT Application Manager for management of the program ongoing
  • Build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure work is consistently of a high standard and productivity expectations are met at all times


Skills and experience:

  • Experience managing IT integration / implementation projects
  • Understanding of hardware and network design
  • Skilled in software design, documentation, testing and problem solving,
  • Broad experience in system integration, analytical processes and diagnostics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communications skills with the ability to work closely with the R&D Team
  • Experience working with Government agencies is desirable
  • Confident in report writing and document preparation
