The IT Business Manager role is part of the IT leadership team and reports to the CEO. The purpose of this role is to ensure that ICT Operations delivers the efficient and effective day-to-day activities of the organisation's information technology. This involves ensuring that IT systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely.
The role also manages 3rd party vendors. Therefore, sound leadership, people management and having a collaborative mindset are core to success in this role.
Role Responsibilities:
- This role will be responsible for all applications, including our Salesforce suite (Lumary/Skedulo/Sage/Pardot), Netsuite, Cornerstone, Noggin.
- Responsible for establishing processes and actions that ensure that applications and systems are stable and secure, and that the delivery of IT services and problem solving is customer-centric, professional, and timely.
- Ensure our corporate IT infrastructure is secure and operational with support of a managed service provider.
- Manage relationships with various IT vendors and ensure optimal levels of support and guidance are provided. Managing contractual agreements to align with the organisation's key operational requirements.
- Facilitate strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support collaboration, the exchange of information and issues management to build on existing relationships and influence positive outcomes.
- Lead and mentor internal IT team to achieve strategic alignment between business processes and IT systems and applications.
About you:
- Minimum of 5+ years successful track record of undertaking a similar role supporting change in a Technology environment.
- Previous experience with Salesforce suite mandatory
- Salesforce Accredited highly desirable
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Service Delivery Management
- Experience with Project Management preferred
- Experience with SaaS and cloud software solutions required
- Experience in applying 'better practice' approaches to all aspects of change management that are practical and results focussed
- Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation
- Impeccable stakeholder engagement skills
