A global technology solutions client is seeking an experienced Hybrid Cloud Architect possessing Azure and AWS cloud architecture experience for an permanent role that will work across project in the resources and engineering industry sectors.
Responsibilities include:
- Create a strategy for establishing a secure and well-managed enterprise environment in Cloud architecture
- Be able to provide sizing, capacity and cost estimation; assist in developing cost benefit cases and co-develop
- Provide leadership and expertise in relation to cloud architecture
- Collaborates with and facilitates with multiple stakeholders and clients
Key skills:
- Strong proven experience in architecting hybrid native cloud infrastructure
- Excellent knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud
- Deep understanding of the modern cloud, DevOps, application, and infrastructure architecture models
- AWS / Azure based Cloud Architecture experience leveraging the multidisciplinary skills of information security, automation and virtualization.
- Hands on Cloud Native Design Patterns & Services including micro-services, docker & Kubernetes
- Architectural experience in defining, implementing and managing the platform components in Private/Public cloud
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Certifications in Azure OR AWS required (at least one)
Desirable skills:
- GCP cloud would be an advantage
