Software Engineering teams are building a new platform to support Microservice APIs developed by our teams of developers spread across the globe. We are using best of breed technologies and design principles to encourage best practice application design/development/operation such as automation and CI/CD.
About the Role:
- Design & support of the CI/CD pipeline
- Development of software delivery platform
- Support and maintenance of the production and non-production environments - including on-call support
- Work with application developer feature teams to ensure successful deployment and operation of their application
- Support the build and deployment tools and infrastrucure used by our development teams
- Respond to high severity production issues escalated by our operations teams
What we are looking for (closest fit to the below):
- A strong passion for automation and repeatable processes Advanced knowledge of Docker containers Advanced knowledge of CD tools (Bamboo) Advanced knowledge of AWS Advanced knowledge of components in a modern web stack - AWS EC2, Terraform
- Continuous integration: Bamboo, Stash, Jenkins
- Configuration Management: Puppet, Docker, Ansible
- Programing and scripting: Shell, Ruby, Python (desirable only)
- Containers: Docker
- API: Rest, micro services
- TCP/UDP/IP
- Linux: CentOS
