Our Federal Government Client is seeking four Delivery Engineers who have knowledge across many technical disciplines and possess the ability to work across a range of activities from technical configuration detail to high level solution design.
This is a long-term contract until 30 June 2023 with 2x12 months extension options, located at our Client's Canberra location.
Specifically, you will have demonstrated experience in the following core areas:
- Developing technology architecture artefacts;
- Providing technical services across a highly complex environment;
- Developing and reviewing detailed designs;
- Creating technical plans for migration of legacy systems;
- Providing guidance through the TOSB design authority in conjunction with the technical assurance team;
- Ensuring artefacts produced are fit for purpose, adhere to the enterprise technical patterns, and can be approved for implementation by governance boards;
- Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships;
- Maintaining and enhancing reporting activities to meet business requirements, including:
- Producing Web dashboards for monitoring as required (e.g. Kibana, Grafana);
- Producing periodic performance and capacity reports following existing processes;
- Enhancing existing reporting capability through the creation, and periodic production of new performance and capacity reports.
- Providing assistance with feeding events into monitoring, alerting and reporting solutions;
- Mentoring and coaching team members including transferring skills and knowledge;
- Liaising with Development Teams/Project Teams to ensure that the appropriate performance monitoring and alerting is implemented.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years' experience in design and delivery of operational environments encompassing the following disciplines:
- Active Directory (Domain Services)
- Windows/Unix Server
- Microsoft Exchange
- VMWare ESX Server, Hyper Converged Infrastructure environments and VM Cloud
- Databases - SQL & Oracle
- Network (LAN WAN and Gateway)
- Cloud (Azure & AWS)
- Whilst a Baseline Clearance is essential, a Negative Vetting Level 1 or Level 2 clearance is highly desirable.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens who have the ability to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances.
