Work in a large banking organistation to deliver next generation technology capabilities in this heavily scripting and engineering focused role. This Big 4 bank is looking for a Data Engineer for a 12 month contract with possibility of extension or view for perm after the initial contract.
Responsibilities
Design and build big data batch & streaming piplines using Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka & it's storages like Hive, Hbase, Phoenix, and more.
Skills and experience
- Strong Python and Spark Experience
- Experience with Big Data technologies (hadoop, HTFS, Hive)
- Experience with Azure
