Data Engineer
- Initial 3 month contract
- Requires SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS & SSAS
- MS cloud platform including PowerBI & Azure
A highly reputed organization based centrally in Perth is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong experience in the MS Data stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS & SSAS) & MS Cloud platforms (PowerBI & Azure) for an initial 3 month contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide expert consultative data engineering advice in relation to the MS data /cloud stacks
- End to end architecture of solutions across modern data platforms
- Work under the direction of the Senior BI Lead
- Liaise with stakeholders and end users
Key skills:
- Hand on data engineering experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS & SSAS
- Strong experience in the MS cloud platform including Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and Databricks
- Experience designing, building & deploying efficient and reliable data pipelines across several platforms including Data Lake, online stores and real-time systems
- Experience in Scala, Python, SQL & SparkSQL
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
