Our client is looking for a Data Engineer to work on large migration project. You will play a key role in transitioning data from a recently purchased business to new life insurance business.
The role:
- Working for a consultancy on site with a major insurance client
- Crunching numbers, collating and sending to external vendor
- Analysing, Checking, Compressing, Encrypting and Sending customer data to the new business
- Work with technical teams who extract data and you take from there
- Working with senior stakeholders who are managing the overall transition
Experience and skills required:
- Background in data profile, analysis, and quality
- Data governance background
- MS SQL Server SQL
- ETL knowledge
- PowerShell scripting or other
- 7zip scripting
- WINSCP scripting
- Data analysis
- Solution design & integration - Basic knowledge
- Architecture - basic knowledge
