About the role
Our client is a leading provider of financial advice, products and services. They are looking for a Data Analyst Engineer who is proficient in Tableau and Alteryx.
This is a 12-month contract role.
You would be involved in:
- Tableau and Alteryx server and service stand up and administration
- Software upgrades (Tableau, Alteryx and related components)
- Performance monitoring and alerts
- Capacity planning
- Incident and problem management
- IT Service continuity management
- Patching of Tableau and Alteryx instances
- Server backup and operational recovery
- User access issue resolution
- Data source connectivity resolution
- Creation of new task schedules
- Trouble shooting jobs or extract refresh failures
To be successful for the role, you would ideally have:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Proficiency in database and server management - Tableau, Alteryx, SSIS, MS Visual Studio, SQL Server, other ELT/ETL tools
- Also desirable - Data-stage, Oracle DB, Snowflake, AWS and Azure
- Ability to work both autonomously and under pressure is necessary
