About the role
Join our client's dynamic team as a Data Analyst / Reporting Analyst, playing a pivotal role in a cross-agency Upgrade Project. As they transition to a cloud-based solution, your responsibility will involve ensuring the seamless continuation of static reporting and business intelligence functions in the evolving landscape.Top of Form
Responsibilities
- Review and document existing legacy data warehouse outputs, collaborating with SMEs, Business Analysts, and Delivery Leads to confirm requirements and utilization.
- Develop and maintain data models/relationships to replicate legacy data warehouse outputs in the new DW system, ensuring continuity.
- Engage with stakeholders, both internal and external, to conduct workshops, eliciting and defining requirements and business processes.
Skills and experience
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Lake systems like Azure Synapse or similar platforms for end-to-end data pipeline construction.
- Proficient in Data Warehousing principles, ETL/ELT practices, and governance concepts with expertise in SQL query design and development.
- Technical proficiency in creating visualizations using tools such as Spark, Power BI, Tableau, coupled with familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or JIRA.
