Seeking an experienced Data Analyst with Power BI knowledge for a 12-month contract within a large government department
Responsibilities
- perform administrative, technical and customising tasks in the data environment
- support and assist with the data management process including loading, creating, maintaining, and distributing data
- provide input to the development of data standards and strategy for the solution
- conduct audits to ensure data quality
- detect data inconsistencies and utilise defined error-handling procedures
- resolve data integration issue related to data in their area of expertise
- ensure the alignment of business data requirements with the enterprise application
- assist with establishing and maintaining data business rules and security specifications
- help establish data retention criteria
- prepare correspondence such as reports, corporate and technical documentation
- provide broad data modelling support for project build, test and implementation activities
- assist with the design of documented data modelling solutions
- contribute to the development and implementation of improvements and best practice
Required Skills & Experience
- Data Analytics
- Requirements definition and management
- Data modelling and design
- Building and maintaining lists, filters, integrated elements in SharePoint
- Excellence in using, and assisting others to use tools such as MS Teams, SharePoint, JIRA, Excel Power BI and/or similar
- Ability to present data in a meaningful, modern and interactive manner, that draws the reader to relevant, significant and important points Qualifications
- Qualifications in Computer Sciences, Data Management or other relevant qualifications will be highly considered
