You will support the implementation of the Group's Data Management framework and their ongoing development and operations across BPB - BCS.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their business and use the data management framework to identify critical data elements
- Link CDEs to business processes and identify risks and controls that exist
- Work with stakeholders to Identify rules for data quality measurement of CDEs
- Work with stakeholders to propose a roadmap to uplift data quality and controls when gaps are identified
- Transition the work to Data Stewards for ongoing management of CDEs
- Monitor and report on the health of CDE management process across the business
- Develop rich Analytical Dashboards and Reports
- Contribute to identification of issues when issues related to CDEs aren't resolved in a timely manner by respective areas
- Arbitrate with projects/build teams and data stewards to ensure the business metadata register is maintained and used consistently and to a high degree of accuracy
- Support development and operational implementation of data management procedures within BPB
- Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Critical data element (CDE) end to end lifecycle
- Contribute to improvement of data literacy, data management and data quality uplift across BPB
Requirements:
- Excellent stake holder management skills and requirements gathering skills
- Data management and governance experience preferred
- Awareness and hands on experience in building, managing or supporting data driven projects
- Business analysis skills
- Experience in data quality management and monitoring
- SQL / Tera Data/ Tableau desired
