Job Description

Our client is an experienced change consultant to join their managed business services team. The team is developing and executing complex change program's role for the company's enterprise clients in a managed service setting

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Have all Configuration Items under Change Control
  • Manage the Risk and Impact of the Change activity on behalf of the customer
  • Ensure change activity checked for completion and quality as per the company's Process
  • Approve (Provide a sign off) / Reject the changes
  • Work closely with Technical / Non-Technical Internal & external stakeholders and Service Management teams for end to end change management
  • Ensure changes are captured in the company's management tool with appropriate levels of approval and governance.
  • Ensure Service Desk and Major Incident teams are kept informed of high priority changes
  • Provide governance of change related activities ensuring continual service improvement and maturity
  • Promote compliance to all Change Management policies
  • Provide Post Change Review recommendations
  • Ability to Influence Change Restrictions / Heightened Awareness in Managed environment.
  • Where required deliver an uplift in the Change Management end to end process for your customer base.
  • Work with associated ISM teams across Problem Management, Capacity Management, Service Level Reporting, Service Desk and others to ensure associated synergies across the ITIL processes are optimised
  • Contribute to the development of the Service Management related practices and processes across the company's portfolio
  • Be able to make recommendations on the technology, process and people requirements within the Change Capability

The candidate:

  • Experienced in Change Management in an ITIL environment
  • Exposure to working in a Project management/coordination environment
  • ITIL foundation
  • Ability to Influence Change Restrictions / Heightened Awareness in Managed environment.
