My client, a leading Australian transport company are looking to bring on a Big Data Engineer to work on their cloud-based data platforms and solutions. This role is a key part to ensure the success of the Loyalty program, you will take an integrated approach to build out the data environment roadmap.
The role will suit someone who has a solid understanding of core big data engineering skills and has a naturally curious disposition, dedicated to delivering exceptional results in a large scale commercial environment.
You will have:
- In depth knowledge of Python scripting and SQL skills
- Hands on experience in AWS environments
- At least 3 yrs experience in a similar role
- Experience working for large scale commercial customers in a complex environment
- Sound understanding of security and privacy requirements
- Agile delivery experience
- Exposure to NoSQL, Graph and OLAP databases
