Automation Test Analyst- QTP/UFT scripting - X5

Role: Automation Test Analyst (X 5 vacancies)
Duration : 3months rolling
Hours of work: 8hrs pd, 5 days pw
Location: ITD, Redfern

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Test Automation Specialist:-

1. Create, maintain and execute efficient Automated test scripts using Test Automation Frameworks
2. Create keyword driven automated Test Scripts
3. Create report from automated scripts for relevant stakeholders
4. Creation of test data via from database whenever required
5. Support and use relevant test tools (HPQC, UFT and so forth)
6. Delivery and leadership of quality assurance
7. Communicate plans, status, and issues to relevant stakeholders
8. Ability to work on your own and also within a team environment

Essential skills and experience

1. At least 5 years of experience in QTP/UFT scripting and automation in various technologies such as web, desktop applications (including WFP, DOTNET and windows forms etc.) and web services
2. Knowledge and understanding of keyword driven frameworks
3. Knowledge and understanding of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
4. Programming experience in C#.NET
5. Experience in building or working with automation systems/frameworks
6. Experience in writing queries to extract data from different types of databases
7. Demonstrated experience/skills working with HP Quality Centre
8. Create, Manage, Execute and Delivery of Automated Testing Suites
9. Strong problem solving and analytical skills required
10. Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
11. Follow agreed test processes and procedures in line with best practice frameworks
