About the role
Our client requires a consistent, repeatable AWS cloud methodology to ensure its systems are both set up cost effectively and align with best practice, but also to perform reliably into the future. The successful candidate will focus on two or three of clients AWS deployments.
Responsibilities
- AWS organisations, account structure and role-based access control
- operations framework
- standards for each tier - dev, test, prod
- infrastructure as code
- repeatable and consistent operations procedures
- continuous build/continuous integration/ continuous development/ continuous release
- resource monitoring, logging and dashboards
- best practice regarding passwords, MFA and security
- recommendations for backup and restore regimes of selected systems
- documentation of cloud infrastructure best practice as it related for infrastructure and projects
Mandatory experience
- AWS code development
Desirable experience
- Solution architecture

- SysOps administration
