Work for a government-owned corporation that provides postal services to Australia, seeking for a Technical Analyst/ RNS Consultant
This resource will be part of the RNS team who are responsible for completing tasks to cut over the EPOS machines to across the Retail Network
- Senior technical specialist/ RNS consultant will provide a high level of support services
- Team provides second level tech support for retail outlets
- Support all tech aspects of applications of the hardware - for front office counter work in retail outlets
- The team supports 8,500 terminals (3500 + retail sites around Australia)
- When call comes into the IT Service Desk the team will take the initial call and determine if hardware issue, network issue or application issue
- Strong customer focus
- Significant experience in a technical application support role including a high level of understanding of Retail Point of Sale environment incorporating banking and real time transactional systems
- Well-developed negotiating and communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes
- Ability to communicate ideas and concepts under stressful situations and discussions, when confronted with a variety of different solutions for a particular problem
- Ability to professionally self-manage workload and day to day duties
