Our Banking client is seeking a Senior Service Designer to join our team and drive forward-thinking strategies for provisioning cards into digital wallets, facilitating digital card payments, and managing the lifecycle of digital cards with a keen focus on process efficiency and stringent controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end processes for provisioning cards into digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.), ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and compliance specialists to ensure alignment of design strategies with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the design and implementation of digital card payment flows, encompassing various scenarios such as in-store transactions, online purchases, and recurring payments (e.g., subscriptions).
  • Champion user-centered design principles, conducting user research and usability testing to iteratively enhance the digital payment experience.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external payment networks, digital wallet providers, and technology partners to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Drive innovation in lifecycle management processes for digital cards, including card controls, spending limits, and suspension/cancellation functionalities.

Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in provisioning cards into digital wallets, with a deep understanding of the underlying technical mechanisms and security protocols.
  • Proficiency in designing digital card payment flows, including tokenization.
  • Strong knowledge of lifecycle management processes for digital cards, encompassing card controls, spending limits, and suspension/cancellation functionalities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
