Position Overview:

The Senior Reporting Analyst will be responsible for spearheading the development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced reporting solutions to support strategic business initiatives. This role will primarily focus on leveraging Power BI to create insightful and visually compelling reports and dashboards tailored to the needs of various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both the construction industry and business operations, with the ability to effectively translate complex data into actionable insights through intuitive mock-ups and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights and user-friendly mockups.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of dynamic reports and dashboards using Power BI, showcasing key performance indicators (KPIs), project metrics, and operational trends.
  • Utilize advanced data modeling techniques to integrate disparate data sources and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of construction project data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization and cost efficiencies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing data-driven recommendations and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Design and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions to educate end-users on how to interpret and utilize reporting tools effectively.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in data visualization, reporting tools, and construction management to continuously enhance reporting capabilities and drive innovation.

Skills:

  • Solid experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting, with a focus on the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools, with a demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Experience in creating intuitive mockups and wireframes to visualize reporting solutions and solicit feedback from stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
