About the role
Our government client is seeking to engage an experienced Senior PMO Analyst for an initial 6 Month engagement.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Provide support and contribute to the development and adoption of the organisations project frameworks and governance
- Contribute to a high-performance team environment and provide excellent customer service
- Analyse and coordinate portfolio level tracking against performance indicators
- Report and update on schedule, deliverables, dependencies, budgets, risks, issues, and benefits
- Provide PMO support to Program and/or Project Manager in the management and oversight of specific projects as required
- Maintain and produce accurate project governance & control documentation
Skills and Experience
- Extensive PMO experience performing business analysis responsibilities
- Strong experience of project management methodologies and a knowledge of both waterfall and agile project approaches
- Practical understanding of project delivery lifecycles, methodologies, and governance practices
- Experience with Project Portfolio Management ("PPM") tools
- Relevant experience with MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, PowerBI, Confluence & Objective
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in order to identify trends or patterns
