Our Client is seeking an IT Support Specialist.

This is a part time role with 3 days per week engagement located at our client's office in Canberra with flexible working arrangements available.

As the selected candidate, you will:

* Provide in-person and remote support to end users in Canberra and interstate.

* Focus on desktop software/hardware issues, supporting MacOS and Windows 11 operating systems, O365, Zoom, etc.

* Act as the point of contact for other IT issues.

* Deploy Mac laptops and some Windows devices to end users.

* Work on assigned incidents raised through the global Helpdesk.

* Participate in projects.

* Work unsupervised with a self-starter mindset.

* Advise end users on their IT needs and best practices (including security policy).

* Establish and maintain relationships with end users with a strong focus on customer service.

* Handle procurement of IT hardware.

* Work with vendors for quotes and placing orders.

* Maintain asset registers for all IT assets.

* Provide IT inductions for new starters.

To be successful in this role you should have:

* Some IT experience with a motivation to grow into the role.

* Strong customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently and take initiative.

* Experience supporting MacOS and Windows 11 operating systems, O365, and Zoom.

It is desirable if you have:

* Experience providing remote IT support.

* Experience in IT procurement and asset management.
