ERP Project Manager:

  • 6 months initial contract with possible extension
  • Based in Perth CBD, hybrid workplace
  • Experience in ERP Project management

Our client is from the construction industry, and they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the implementation and management of their ERP system. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in an unstructured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Defining and Managing Project Scope

  • Clearly define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, ensuring any scope adjustments are documented and approved.

Developing Detailed Project Schedules:

  • Create comprehensive project schedules that include key milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure that project timelines are aligned with the head office program and overall business objectives.

Progressing Activities and Commentary:

  • Monitor project progress against the plan, identifying any deviations.
  • Provide regular updates and detailed commentary on project status, highlighting any issues or risks.

Producing Fortnightly Project Status Reports:

  • Compile and deliver bi-weekly status reports that cover project progress, risks, issues, and upcoming activities.
  • Ensure reports are clear, concise, and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.

Coordinating Project Resources:

  • Organize and manage internal resources, head office teams, and external vendors to meet project deliverables.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring effective utilization of all team members.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand and meet their needs and expectations.
  • Facilitate regular communication and build strong relationships to ensure project support and alignment.

Working in an Unstructured Environment:

  • Adapt to and manage project delivery in an environment with minimal structure.
  • Implement processes and practices to bring organization and control to project activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing large-scale ERP implementations or similar complex projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of ERP systems and related technologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse project data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills, with a track record of effectively managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working in an unstructured environment and capable of implementing structure where needed.
