Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Continuous Delivery Engineer!

This is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months, with the possibility of a2x12 months extensions. The position is located in Canberra, ACT, with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

As the selected candidate, you will:

  • Assist team members with troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Build and enhance Linux/Unix based systems.
  • Regularly contribute to the improvement of IP Australia's continuous delivery capabilities.
  • Participate in both project and BAU (business as usual) work.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting (Windows) and shell/bash scripting (Unix/Linux).
  • Advanced coding experience in C++, Java, and/or other programming languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat server topology, Jira, and Confluence (administration level).
  • Experience with Oracle and Postgres databases.
  • Experience with security codesigning, Venafi TrustAuthority, and auto certificate renewal.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to knowledge transfer.

It is desirable if you have:

  • Experience with automated release management tools (e.g., XebiaLabs XL Deploy/Release).
  • Experience administering the Atlassian suite of products (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Fisheye/Crucible).
  • Experience working with the Intelledox document generation platform.

Due to security clearance requirements, candidates must be Australian citizens with a Baseline security clearance.
