Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Business Analyst!

This is a long-term contract role of 12 months with two 12-month extension options, located in ACT Canberra. Working arrangements are negotiable.

As the selected candidate, you will:

  • Engage with internal and external users to understand their needs and identify opportunities for digital product and service improvement.
  • Collaborate with program and product managers, business areas, and external users to develop user-centric digital solutions.
  • Design solutions that meet architecture standards and contribute to the program's future state.
  • Support user engagement throughout the development lifecycle (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live).
  • Translate technical solutions into clear and concise communication for business stakeholders.
  • Write user stories, maintain feature alignment, guide development sequence, and perform acceptance testing.
  • Develop content for business consumption and communicate future system requirements to developers.
  • Collaborate with user researchers and stakeholders to contribute to the strategic vision.

To be successful in this role you should have:

    • Extensive experience in business analysis for large-scale transformations.
    • Expertise in preparing high-quality business and technical documentation.
    • Proven ability to solve complex problems using evidence, analysis, and investigation.
    • Strong track record working in agile and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in workflow processes and providing solutions to enhance the workflow lifecycle.
  • Additionally:
    • Must be able to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills.
    • Human-centered design approach to service delivery.
    • Ability to influence and guide decisions with senior stakeholders.
    • Experience creating high-quality visual materials (goals, objectives, problems, vision).
