Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer.
This is a Non-ongoing role for 12 months, located at our client's office in Canberra with flexible working arrangements.
As the selected candidate, you will:
* Deliver high-quality graphic design products for print and digital outputs.
* Possess expert knowledge of Government brand guidelines and principles as well as an extensive understanding of Government accessibility requirements.
* Maintain successful relationships with internal stakeholders and liaise with external suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.
* Mentor junior staff and stay abreast of trends and developments in graphic design.
* Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
* Manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
* Assist the Design Studio Lead with special projects as required.
To be successful in this role you should have:
* A minimum of five years professional experience in graphic design.
* A relevant tertiary qualification.
* Relevant experience in the delivery of communication or creative services.
* A proven track record and experience in a similar role.
It is desirable if you have:
* Experience in managing a range of complex design projects within budget and tight deadlines.
* Understanding of printing and production techniques.
* Demonstrated understanding of brand principles and ability to create visual identities.
* Effective oral and written communication, presentation, and liaison skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and client management.
* Leadership experience in mentoring junior designers.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with baseline security clearance.
