Our Client:

Our client has a dominant presence within the telecommunications industry, they are currently seeking a Test Environment Coordinator to join on an initial 6-month contract.

The Test Environments Coordinator must be able to understand and demonstrate the discipline of providing, supporting, and maintaining testing environments for organisational engagements.

About the role

You would be involved in,

  • Enabling the reduction in ongoing costs and increasing efficiency and effectiveness of testing through the delivery of robust and sufficient test infrastructure, processes and systems and thereby provide a strategic service to support the IT/Business in successful testing / project delivery;
  • Liaison with the various support environment support vendors to enable the provisioning/configuration, maintenance, change control, and use of physical/logical system environments (hardware, software);
  • Working collaboratively with the Test Managers and Test Leads on assigned projects and enable provisioning/configuring test environments as required for functional and non-functional testing;
  • Managing demand and allocation of test environments;
  • Reviewing design/test documentation on assigned projects to ensure test environment approach is achievable;

The successful applicant will have experience in:

  • An IT or related tertiary qualification and 7+ years Test Environments Management experience, preferably in Telecommunications
  • Has strong IT Experience and extensive experience in setting up and scaling test Environment Management Services (TEMS) across the firm as a horizontal.
  • Understands complex Environment set up and architecture (Linux, Unix based systems and different infrastructure tools used to deliver the services)
  • Understands and has experience in ITIL Framework and service management.
