About the role
An experienced Test Analyst to Join a leading organisation on a large-scale project focusing on the Manual testing of web forms, assisting product quality by preparation of test plans and the testing of software to agreed guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop test analysis, plans and scenarios to provide for effective testing for implementation of releases and projects.
- Coordinate and participate in testing activities in different test stages during implementation of projects and releases.
- Identify and report risks associated with testing activities and take preventative action when any risks become unacceptable.
- Maintain test repository including manual and automated test scripts.
- Work closely with all teams to identify and develop opportunities to improve quality.
- Plan, monitor and control internal test activities to ensure the quality and promptness of the testing.
- identify improvements to the testing process and assist in their implementation.
- Implement ongoing quality improvement processes across all testing areas and develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness Complete status reports based on test completion/ findings and communicate these to the team, including any impact on the overall project or release plans.
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications and relevant work experience, preferably in software testing or project management.
- Software testing certification ISTQB or similar.
- Ability to work as part of a professional project team, both collaboratively and independently with minimal
supervision. - Advanced level computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office.
- Broad background consisting of exposure to a variety of different types and levels of testing, including system,
integration, regression, performance, acceptance, automation, exploratory testing. - Demonstrated critical thinking skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills applied during test analysis,
design and execution of major systems.
