Description:
Reporting to the Mine Systems Coordinator, this position within our Mine Systems team will ensure safe, effective, and timely communication.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Maintenance of all site radio and Fleet Management System and hardware.
- Accountability for the availability of the systems ensuring that there is a high degree of business continuity.
- Maintaining configuration systems and strategies to required specifications.
- Adherence to work orders, work processes and compliance to work schedules.
- Following a defined continuous improvement process to ensure ongoing implementation of best practice for system performance, reliability, and accuracy.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Experience in communications infrastructure (mine radio, microwave, leeky feeder, wireless networks).
- Minimum apprenticeship, adult trade scheme or Certificate IV in electronics or communication.
- Previous experience with MineStar Fleet Management System and TETRA Digital Radio systems highly regarded.
