Our key client, a leading Banking organization is looking for a talented Senior Infrastructure Tech Lead to join the team. This is a great opportunity to liaise with vendors, internal teams and customers and utilize your experience and skillset with AIX systems.
You will enjoy a variety of responsibilities that include:
- Be the point of contact for all AIX systems
- Providing guidance and support to all supporting run partners for AIX Estate
- Review system designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.
You will have demonstrated experience with:
- Advanced analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting and consultative skills
- Deploying and supporting AIX servers, OPEN LDAP, AD, backup and virtualised technology in complex environments
- Chef/Ansible scripting for server administration\automation.
- Deep understanding of Group Policy and OPEN LDAP authentication.
- AIX, VIO, pSeries from a support and diagnosis perspective.
- AIX roles and feature operability: Clustering (Veritas, GPFS and PowerHA), LPM, HMC, Centreon, Splunk and App Dynamics
- Relevant technical certifications including CCIE, MCSE are desirable
