Our client is undertaking a major transformation project. As part of this initiative it is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure). You will be responsible for managing infrastructure projects and associated deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in infrastructure transition and strong vendor management experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design procure and provision the following core infrastructure: DNS, DHCP, Identity & Access Management, Application Proxy, Web Proxy;
- Project planning of costs, resources, time, dependencies and deliverables
Provision of core infrastructure to extend existing environment, ready to start consuming cloud services and transitioning application workloads to the cloud - Effective stakeholder engagement and buy-in
- Effective Change Management across technology and business
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Over 5+ years' experience in ICT project management
- Previous experience managing large infrastructure projects
- Experience in managing network related projects
- Proven prior experience delivering technology infrastructure change projects and transitions
- Solid understanding of technology infrastructure
- Ability to engage and manage external parties to deliver commercial requirements
- Previous experience delivering project requirements as part of a large program of work with a practical understanding of interdependency management
- Strong Vendor Management Experience
- Proven change management experience - technology and business
- Strong communication, engagement and influencing skills
