THE ROLE:
Working on a National System Management Project, the Cyber Security Integration Engineer will focus on the cyber security integration of subsystems, as well as the testing and compliance for safety critical solutions. You will also provide expert guidance/assistance as required to other technical teams regarding cyber security and integration matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deployment and configuration of the Cyber Security Components and Technologies (Firewalls, IDS, Access Control, Endpoint Protection, Security Event log)
- Development and execution of the System Integration Test procedures related to security fields
- Analyse and provide test integration reports
- Ensure the Security subsystems, platforms and applications updated and patched in line with industry best practices
- Contribute to the development and achievement of IVVA goals, objectives and key results by participating in regular department meetings
ABOUT YOU:
- Degree qualification in Engineering (Computer and Networking), IT Systems Engineering, Information Security or related equivalent experience
- Extensive experience working in a similar role working on large, real time software-based systems
- Experience using and configuring security tools such as Netsparker and Nessus and security protocols such as LDAP, Kerberos, TACACS+
- Experience in Integration and/or Testing of cyber security requirements at the hardware, Software and systems level
- Demonstrated ability to work in an integrated team environment
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- The position is dependent on the candidate eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance; thus, Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
- The suitable candidate needs to be ITARS cleared; therefore, we need to know if you hold any passport other than Australian, or have dual citizenship.
- You will also need to successfully clear a pre-employment medical and police check.
