Our client is seeking a Senior Citrix Engineer, who will be supporting Citrix Cloud virtual applications and desktops within organisation. Also, to coordinate and assist with executing installation and build activities for the Virtualisation Operating Environment.
Primary skills of the role include:
- Expert experience in managing and maintaining Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops (CVAD) environment as a System Administrator/Engineer
- Advanced and Proven CVAD experience (greater than 5000 users) with Windows 10 and Server 2019
- Expert experience with Active Directory and Group Policies
- Professional experience in designing, planning and implementation for the continued development of the Citrix Cloud service. Version Upgrades, Third-Party Solutions, and Integration with additional Enterprise Systems.
- Prior experience with configuring and maintaining Citrix health checks, preventive maintenance activities and documentation
- Experience with automation of CVAD image builds and continuous integration and improvements
- Identify platform changes that improve end user experience and or cost optimisation opportunities to reduce ongoing running costs
- Expert knowledge of monitoring alerting, logging and status messages
- Proven end-to-end troubleshooting skills and experience with Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Expert scripting skills with PowerShell
- Advanced knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Advanced knowledge of ITIL framework
