About the role
Our client is a leading wholesale distribution and marketing organization. They are looking for a Project Manager with experience in ERP implementation.
This is a 12-month contract role.
You would be involved in:
- Ensure appropriate project controls & methodologies are used on each project
- Ensure projects are appropriately resourced
- Maintain an up to date status summary of projects in your area of responsibility (cost, time, resourcing, risks & issues) and ensure relevant stakeholders are kept up to date.
- Work collaboratively with peers, business stakeholders & external providers to minimise delays or cost overruns on projects.
- Ensure projects are aligned and executed in accordance to agreed business outcomes
- Oversight of quality and "fit for purpose" nature of solutions across all aspects of project delivery
To be successful for the role, you would ideally have:
- Demonstrated experience of successful delivery of complex IT projects
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with 3rd party service providers
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguous or fluid business requirements
- Sound understanding of contemporary IT technologies & awareness of emerging technologies
- Experience in ERP implementations across FMGC, wholesale or retail business is highly desirable
