Oracle EBS DBA
- Initial 3-month contract that may extend to 12 months
- Work on Oracle EBS upgrade
- Remote AU work considered for Aust PR/ citizens
A leading, global IT company is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS DBA for an initial 3-month contract that may extend up to 12 months. Remote AU work will be considered from home, but candidates are required to possess either Australian PR or Citizenship as a minimum.
Responsibilities include:
- Work on the upgrade of Oracle EBS 11 to 12
- Oracle DB & Applications Tasks
- Monitoring, Alerting & Reporting
- Performance Tuning, Security/Hardening & Troubleshooting
- Backup/Recovery
- Installation, Patching & Cloning
- Liaise with and provide support to stakeholders
Key skills:
- Support of Oracle Applications E-Business Suite (R12.1.x to R12.2.x)
- Recent experience with OEBS R12.1.x to R12.2.x upgrade and Oracle DB 11gR2 to 19c
- Technical experience with Oracle (including design and maintenance, backups, Dataguard, RAC, ASM, Exadata, Shell Scripting, Performance Tuning, Oracle Application Suite & Oracle Middleware)
- Experience with Fusion Middleware and WebLogic
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
