Our Client:

Our client is a Federal Government Agency are currently seeking a Junior Business Data Analyst on an initial 12-month contract.

In this role, you will be working to review, manage and update the current Excel tools that are used to capture reports of suspected non-compliance or fraudulent behaviour. The role will also manage and monitor the data integrity of the current records, identify and design improved data capture and recording process, review and design effective reporting tools using the available data and assist in the data transfer on implementation of the Case Management System.

As this role is within the Federal Government, it is a requirement that the successful candidate be an Australian Citizen.

Success for this role will rely on the individual's ability to be able to work in a highly dynamic environment, good cultural fit, and their ability to challenge and drive thinking in new directions.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Highly developed skills in data capture, analysis, and reporting tools
• Ability to analyse work process and design data capture tools to fit
• Ability to utilise and develop queries or supporting tools to interrogate and edit bulk data sets
• Strong and adaptable communication and interpersonal skills
• Has experience in building relationships both with internal stakeholders
• Ability to work within and across teams and adapt quickly to a changing environment
• Ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information

About you:

To be successful for the role, you will need the following:

• Understanding and knowledge of disability and its impact on individuals
• Experience with supporting people with a disability to maximise participation in community
• Previous experience leading or participating in a data migration project
• Previous experience in Database Administration, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence tools or applicable analysis fields
• An understanding of project and program management frameworks and policies, an understanding of the business operations and systems
