This is a large Australian iconic institution who are undergoing some exciting Information Technology transformations and are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect who has experience in developing effective and sustainable solutions for information security initiatives. The information security uplift project aims to implement additional information security controls such as multi-factor authentication, network segmentation as well as expand existing capacity in logging and monitoring systems. The project also involves the hardening of a wide range of infrastructure across a broad range of business units. The project will be run out of the IT Project Delivery team, steered by the Information Security team and Architecture Services, will work closely with system owners across the organisation

About the role

You will be a seasoned Solution Architect who has worked in large, complex public sector environments. Your solution design experience will have included security control solutions in complex heterogenous environments, that have a broad range of business and technical stakeholders. You will have a solid understanding of sound architectural methods and governance, be able to develop technology and security target state architecture and roadmaps for delivery.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong stakeholder management and the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at several levels in the organisation. You will have strong IT vendor management experience, requirements gathering and solution design skills.

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are motivated and driven by the outcome and challenges of securing complex IT environments, with a methodical and consultative approach in your work.
