Our CBD based client is looking for an experience IT Project Manager, for an initial 6 month contract.
Duties will include
- Administering and managing the delivery according to scope, time and cost
- Management of project staff, suppliers, customers and stakeholders
- Undertake the activities required to initiate, plan, execute and close projects
- Provide progress and status reports
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager on complex business change projects involving
- Experience sourcing and/or implementation of ICT systems
- Experience in planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects
- Experience in writing briefing notes and procurement documentation
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working as part of a project team preferably in a PRINCE2 environment
Desirable Skills:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience writing project management documents (business case, project initiation document, benefits analysis etc.)
- Experience working on government procurement projects
- Experience in the health sector
- Experience on projects involving the procurement, implementation and change management
