About the role
Out client is a publicly listed company on the Australian Stock Exchange. They are a diversified provider of telecommunications services.
- 6 Month contract with view to convert to permanent
- Hybrid (mix of Offfice/WFH possible)
- Interstate travel required
Skills
- Expertise in Enterprise firewall design and implementation
- Deployment and operation of virtualised environments and software packages desirable (ie VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Experience with WiFi and Firewall hardware and software
- Strong Pre-sales acumen. Able to work with a prospective new clients and step through the discovery, identifying requirements, possible solution alternatives.
- Must be able to interact and engage with non-technical leaders
- Ability to create, articulate and document clients Scope of Work and develop High Level Designs
- Collaboration with Engineering Manager and Network Engineers to build, an agreed on Detail Level Designs.
Background and Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in the industry, preferably enterprise data communication networks.
- not core/access or telecommunications engineers
- Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN
- Experience in the planning, design, deployment, and commissioning of Wi-Fi networks
- Experience in planning, designing, deploying, and commissioning Enterprise networks
- Experience operating in a commercial project environment
