Our client is a management consulting services company that has a great city fringe location and has clients both in the private and government sector. They are busy with lots of interesting projects and require an experienced Data Warehouse designer/developer to join the team ASAP.
About the role
As a Data Warehouse Consultant, you will bring end to end experience and skills in Data warehouse architecture, data modelling, data integration, BI and Data visualisation.
You will have experience working with various stakeholders and ability to understanding data needs for a business.
There is no specific Data Warehouse or BI technologies required as consultants often work with many technologies and able research and pick up new ones when required.
Skills and experience
- Client Consulting experience in Data and Analytics
- Experience delivering Data Warehouse projects, on prem or Cloud Environments
- Knowledge in relational and big data architectures, data warehousing, data integration, data modelling, data optimisation and data analysis techniques
- Interest and knowledgeable in Big Data, Data Ecosystem and data governance technologies
- Knowledgeable in Cloud Data Warehouse services
- Experienced with public cloud platforms and cloud infrastructure
- Experienced building end to end data pipelines using on-premise or cloud based data platforms
- Exposed to ETL/ELT and governance tools
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
