Our Client:
Our client is involved within Local Government and aim to provide wide range of services and infrastructure needed for the local community. They are currently on the lookout for a Database Specialist for an initial 3-6month contract. In this role, you would be responsible for the developing various business insights by designing data models, data cubes, integrations, business Intelligence and data warehouse solutions.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Enhancing their data and analytics eco-system and helping in the creation of a strong, trusted, and sustainable data foundation and information delivery service.
- Lead and manage the administration of databases including installation, configuration, upgrade, monitoring, and maintenance to meet the organisation's need for data management and database management systems performance
- Providing both technical and analytical support, Being the point of contact regarding on data models, data visualisations that translate and deliver solutions, transforming data into insights
To be successful for the role, you would ideally:
- Demonstrated experience working in SQL Database Administration
- Previous experience working within Database Development or Reports creation
- Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Extensive experience with the MSBI Stack
- Any Technology One ERP experience is an advantage
