Our client is a major IT services and consulting firm located in Melbourne! You will be working on a major project under the Client through a 6-month contract with an optional extension. The Data Engineer will be a part of a team seeking hands-on experience on a series of Cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Help in improving the project, with technologies that surround it such as Snowflake, Python and SQL
- Work with mission teams of data analysts, data scientists, and product owners to deliver business outcomes
- Utilise the agile methodology for project delivery
Skills Required:
- Must exhibit skills and knowledge around SQL, Snowflake and Python
- Proficiency in utilising AWS technologies
- 5 - 6 years of Data Engineering experience is preferred
Desirables:
- Exposure to related technologies such as ECS, S3, CloudFormation and IAM
- Being able to work independently with other team members and across other teams
- Willingness to mentor and help junior/mid-level team members
