Cloud Infrastructure Architect
- Fixed term contract until Feb 2024
- Major utilities client in Perth CBD
- Transition on premise to private/ public / hybrid cloud
A leading utilities company in the Perth CBD is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect who is experienced in the design and transition of on premise cloud to private/ public/ Hybrid cloud environments. This is a long term contract until Feb 2024.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee cloud, infrastructure and enterprise architecture in the transition process
- Ensure the program of work aligns with the strategy (which has already been drafted)
- Assist in transition of the business through technology, architecture and governance
- Liaise with external suppliers and business stakeholders through the transition
Key skills:
- Proven experience the design and transition of on-premise to private/ public/ hybrid cloud environments (preference is for Azure)
- Ability to employ information / process architecture and governance standards
- Strong ability to create technical / architectural documentation
- Experience in liaising with external ICT service providers and suppliers to ensure a smooth transition
- The ability to liaise with technical and non- technical stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to accommodate a changing environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant tertiary educations / certifications highly regarded
