Business Intelligence Analyst
- Initial 6 months of contract with global mining client
- Perth CBD location
- Analyse, design, and develop group-level metric aggregators and data visualisation tools.
About the Role:
Our client is a global mining client looking for Business Intelligence Analyst who has experience working with Senior Business Analysts and DevOps team to analyse, design and develop group-level metric aggregators and data visualisation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience with the design, industrialisation, and lifecycle support of multi-tier distributed enterprise applications within a DevOps and Agile environment.
- Background in in business analysis, data modelling, data analytics and data visualisation.
- Work closely with PRiME team members to ensure metric aggregation and design is fit-for-purpose
- Undertake metric calculation, configuration, build, testing, documentation, and business intelligence report development.
- Develop complex multi-dimensional calculations and logic using DAX and SQL.
- Develop and support test execution, including development of test cases for SIT and UAT ensuring comprehensive test execution to meet business requirements and ensure platform stability.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in Object Oriented Analysis, User Interface Design, Dashboard Development, and advanced SQL Programming
Good technical, data, sql, tabular, excel and power BI, relational, dimensional, and OLAP databases - Experience in Object Oriented Analysis, User Interface Design, Dashboard Development, and advanced SQL Programming
- Exposure to mining environment highly desirable
- Advanced data modelling and analysis
- Advanced Power BI Desktop/Web, tabular Models, MDX, DAX
