We are currently recruiting for an Application Developer to work in a dynamic team environment within a Government entity.
About the role
The successful candidate is a UI developer who enjoys the hands-on side of delivery and yet a strategist, aligning business objectives with enterprise architecture through innovation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve website
- Optimize applications for maximum speed
- Design mobile-based features
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
- Able to convert Figma/PSD designs to HTML & CSS
- Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies
Skills and experience
- Minimum 4/5 years of Hands-on Front-End Design & Development experience
- Hands on experience with markup languages
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/SCSS/LESS, Bootstrap & jQuery
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- Understanding of layout aesthetics
- Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and content management systems
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- Understanding of front-end architectures, and the performance-design constraints of building large-scale single-page web applications and interactive responsive designs.
Candidate must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident due to Government role.
