Peoplebank are recruiting for a Technical Business / Data Analyst to work for this Adelaide based company on an initial 6 month contract, with a strong chance of extensions.
In this role, you will help develop a Business Case to articulate the future state of the company's transformation application layer, including consideration of:
- Data platforms and products
- Advanced analytics and AI products
- Data insights
- Data transformation processes
- Data management processes
- Strategy and transformation roadmap
- Data privacy and security
- Implementation time frames, resources, and costbenefits
Responsibilities
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders in developing the Business Case
- Setup appropriate internal project governance and ensure close alignment and updates are provided to the Commonwealths business operations team
- Provide regular status reports and participate in quarterly planning
- Conduct workshops and communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure they are kept informed of the BC development and involved in decision making as required
- Organise vendor/product demonstrations if/as required and facilitate evaluations
- Liaise with the Commonwealth to ensure the capabilities of the new data lake and its associated products are known and incorporated into BC considerations
- Scope of activities span data management, warehousing, integration, and migration; business intelligence; analytics; and delivery.
Skills and experienced required:
- Experienced in preparing business cases and strategic direction for data-driven organisations
- Experience with current data analytics and intelligence best of breed products
- Strong client-facing experience as a data driven consultant
- Strong understanding of analytics and data science
- Excellent facilitator and communicator with SME's and executives
