Our client, a Vic Government Agency, is seeking a talented System Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a hands-on, technical role where you will provision, install/configure, operate and maintain systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
You will be accountable for the management and development of the storage, networking and computer systems that support client's Windows and Linux infrastructure. You will also lead technical research and development to enable continued innovation within the team.
Skills and Experience
- Experience with Windows 10 SOE Deployment tools such as MS Endpoint Management (Intune), SCCM and MS Autopilot.
- Experience with implementing, maintaining, and supporting a virtualised Microsoft Server 2012 or newer, inclusive of Active Directory management.
- Strong experience with various aspects of Microsoft Windows server systems, Azure, VMWare, networking, MS Exchange, Office365, and system backups.
- Strong experience with cloud technologies (e.g. MS 365, Azure, AWS).
- Strong experience with Remote Access technologies (e.g. Citrix ADC / CVAD).
- Experience in maintaining internal infrastructure requirements, including laptops, servers, routers, switches, firewalls; supports internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Extensive system administrator experience in a financial or Government institution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional customer service skill
- Experience working in a secure networked environment.
