About the role
We are working in partnership with a large tech-driven financial organization.
Looking for a collaborative team player to join the team as a Surveillance and Monitoring Consultant, monitoring access security across events on Mainframe platforms.
This role will allow for you to utilize your demonstrated experience with RACF Security and Monitoring, as part of a motivated team that make genuine impact.
You will enjoy responsibility for
- Monitoring access security across events across Mainframe platforms, investigating and reporting on potential security exposures and breaches, and implementing recommendations to resolve identified security vulnerabilities
- Monitoring ongoing compliance of MIS controls against Enterprise Controls and Group Information Risk Policy (GIRP)
- Liaising with internal and external audit bodies in the undertaking and completion of audit-based commitments
You will have hands-on experience with
- JCL (Job Control Language) coding experience
- SPLUNK Search Processing Language (SPL)
- SAS (Statistical Analysis System) programming expertise
- ISPF (Interactive System Productivity Facility) - ISPF Dialogue Management Services Expertise
- SDSF (Spool Display Search Facility)
- SMF and associate mainframe utilities and facilities
- RACF Security Expertise - including security control design reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with organisational security requirements.
